New Brabus Mercedes-AMG GT S breaks 200mph barrier

Brabus tunes Merc's latest sports car to 591bhp and 750Nm of torque, set to debut at Frankfurt show

Mercedes might be showing its sleek new C-Class coupe and S-Class cabrio at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but German tuner Brabus might steal the firm's limelight with a beefed-up version of its AMG GT S sports car.

If you're one of the (surely few) people who finds the standard 503bhp AMG GT S a bit underpowered, you'll like what the Brabus package has to offer. A new mapping kit for the ECU and increased boost pressure on the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 adds a further 88bhp and 100Nm of torque. Brabus AMG GT S rear side Image 2 of 8 The 0-62mph time drops
